9:20-11:20: Development of sports infrastructure and facility management

How can the operators of the Hungarian sports facilities fight the biggest enemy of the present e.g. the energy prices? In recent years the sports infrastructure has undergone a huge development, but how sustainable will these facilities be? Moreover can they be operated on a market basis? Let's run through some good examples already in practice and some other practical solutions for increasing income and mitigating the effects of the crisis.

14:05-15:30: Risk management in sports

Injuries, illnesses, unexpected life events - both the athlete and the club manager are human, and their entire season or even their whole career can depend on how they manage these risks in terms of their business as well as their performance. What is the level of financial awareness of the Hungarian athletes? How does a club manager calculate the loss of income due to injuries in his business year?

15:35-16:30: Development of sports infrastructure and facility management

The future of our best athletes, the sport activities together with the health of thousands of people, the development of young children's relationship to sports - Relevant experts will discuss this pressing and very delicate social matter and will give their opinion about the direct and indirect effects of this new situation brought by the crisis.

16:35-17:30: Sports ecosystem and sustainability 1.

The mass base of sports in Hungary and in the world as a whole consists of very small micro-communities. The identity-shaping and community-creating effect of sports has been proven already, but this can be in serious jeopardy if the actors of the ecosystem continue to lead the way in an inappropriate way.

17:35-18:15: Hungarian sports beyond the borders

Premiere in Budapest! Delegates of Topolya, DAC, Sepsi OSK and FK Csíkszereda at one table! How do the most representative Hungarian football clubs beyond the borders see the challenges of the present and the near future? What are the similarities and differences between clubs from Central/Eastern Europe and their Hungarian counterparts? How does the development of football affect the Hungarian communities across the border?

18:20-18:55: Sports ecosystem and sustainability 2.

  • Good practices in the sustainability of sports events

    Since when can we talk about green sports events? What aspects prevail in making a sports event more sustainable? International and domestic examples to follow, from the Olympics to small, local sports events.

  • Garmin ecosystem - sport, health, environment

    How can technological development become the engine of a sport as a whole? One of the world's leading performance analytics product development companies presents the state of the sport from the perspective of the manufacturer, sponsor and tech partner.

19:30-21:00: Sportmarketing Awards

The Sportmarketing Awards ceremony was created with the intention of recognising our top athletes and teams. Having the greatest marketing value is one of the cornerstones of our unique objective criteria throughout the process.

09:20-10:35: World-class sporting events in Hungary

We can get to know the background of two sports events that took place with great success in our country in 2022 and two world competitions that will be held in Hungary in the near future.

  • The effect of the Grande Partenza of Giro d'Italia on cycling in Hungary

    This event definitely meant more for the organizers and for Hungary than just top riders competing in three stages throughout the country. It brought lasting results economically, in terms of tourism and the development of the sport as well.

  • FINA World Championships Budapest 2022 - History written!

    Husain Al-Musallam, the Kuwaiti president of the International Federation of Aquatic Sports (FINA), described the 2022 World Championships as the best of all time. Don't forget that the organizers only had four months at their disposal. Which was the biggest achievement: still putting together the best FINA World Championships ever or Kristóf Milák's unbelievable world record? 

  • The world is watching! - World Athletics Championships, where the heroes meet

    "The goal is organise the best World Athletics Championships ever" - told our invited guest to Nemzeti Sport. After this year's FINA World Championships, we will have the priviledge to be proud of  our athletes once again, as the sports world will be watching Budapest in the second half of August. What tasks await the organizers until then? How will this be different from previous World Championships? How will it effect Hungary now that we are facing the biggest sporting event in our country?

  • Chess Olympics 2024

    Hungary will host the Chess Olympics for the first time in 2024. The Hungarian Chess Federation did an enormous job on the tender and started the preparations immediately after they were selected as hosts back in December 2020. What innovative solutions are they preparing? What does it truely mean that this will be the first 5G Chess Olympics? What makes the event green and eco? What does the federation do to have greater female participation?

How can sport, study and work be reconciled? How can the higher education institutions support this? Which are the benchmark universities in this matter and what made them so? Where do they position themselves internationally? What role do they play in the development of Hungarian sports?

14:50-16:20: Women in sports - empowerment, success, career 1.

Ladies share their experiences and opinions on the position of women in sports. What challenges does a female athlete face after becoming a mother and after finishing her career? Is there an appropriate moment for these decisions that greatly affect both the career and the personal life? How supportive is the current sports environment? What has improved and what needs to be improved in this matter? What other steps are required to improve this even more?
